Someone seriously named their kid Newt? I thought that was just a Maze Runner thing. Now 'eye of newt' has a really bad meaning.

Well I suppose Newton is a relatively okay name, especially for the given time period) can't say I know anything about Maze runner but in this case clearly the name as well as the surname serve as a stylistic device, so why not))
