This is a picture of some cupcakes with marshmallow peeps on top; my mom and I made these for Easter this year. I personally like to call them "Peepcakes." The recipe is below.

Please note that these were made using a pre-packaged cake mix. If you want to make them from scratch, feel free to do so. For best results, follow the instructions on the box if using cake mix.

To make these cupcakes, you will need:

1 box of party cake/Funfetti confetti cake mix

Cupcake/muffin liners/papers and pan

Vanilla icing/frosting (We used vanilla marshmallow-flavored icing.)

Marshmallow Peeps [We used pink, blue and purple, but you can use any color(s) you want.]

Shredded coconut with green food coloring for grass

Optional: Assorted fruit-flavored jelly beans
