"Well, let me tell you... It was long and very hard."My favorite ask picture yet from my "Ask Heather Mason" Tumblr. I meant to post it sooner but I kept forgetting about it... Aw well.
Tried going for the novel's style of coloring. Didn't come out as smooth but it turned out fairly decent!

I thought every bit of it was great! Plus the story that went with it...it really tugged at my heart and made me feel for Heather. Out of curiosity, what program/brushes do you use? I love the large strokes of color. And the detail is phenomenal.

Seriously, AWESOME work! I think this is my favorite thing yet of all the Silent Hill stuff you've done!

Well, I can't take all the credit for the pallet. XD It was based off of the novel painting for this part of the story.

This is one of my favorites too aaah snap! The lighting on this is pretty epic yo, shat bricks when i saw it. ;z; I envy your ability to choose really epic palletes for the epic lighting you want!

I think you did quite well with the coloring :U The roughness of it gives the image a certain edge and the warm colors have a great mood set to them. Really awesome drawing and concept :0

This is amazing. <3 THE COLORING, THE PERSPECTIVE, ALL THE DETAILS...FFF OH GOD I LOVE IT. The red/orangeish toning makes it look even more intense and I just love it. :~D
...Also the fact that God is meant to resemble Alessa always creep me out. ): And you managed to make God look even nastier than she does in the novelization or the game...it's awesome. <3

I love the color palette at work here, the epic angle as well. The bg is simple, but draws my attention towards what I'm supposed to be focusing on...God & heather.
