I'm gathering supplies to make the next episodes a little more advanced graphically. Hopefully I'll manage to have a new episode up soon enough but sticking to a weekly deadline is proving to be harder than I thought, especially when style/supplies aren't steady yet. But it'll all work out eventually.

I realise now that it was too early to fully commit to it. Or maybe it's just me who's unable to deal with more than 3 things at a time ^^

Hehe indeed.
In the end I feel that making it a weekly thing is a bad idea, I want to come to me naturally, and with summer job and all I won't have so much spare time so I'd rather work on what I decide. I will try to make at least one new episode soon though.

Another two weeks of running around (going to my old place, spain, and a week at my parents) and I should finally be settled in my place, with a bit of headspace, work shouldn't make my mind too busy (working with kids).

Hehe yeah, personally I do have to force it at times, not force the inspiration but force myself to get to work, as I often get carried away juggling, studying techniques, or just by the other distractions life offers.

I'm going back to my apartment today (been at my parents for a week) and will finally enjoy being on my own for a few days before I start my summer job. I should be able to get something done in this period.

I do have some raw footage to edit (full motion not stop motion), but I don't have a soundtrack yet. And I also really want to do a stop motion, something I'm sure it makes life so much easier. Animating that wooden dummy was hell

I can relate to that. When I started Spoons (last summer) I had the idea in my head to do a page a week throughout this year, and so far I have done only 12. Life is very good at keeping you busy with things you don't want to be busy with..

I came across a great place to find royalty free music by a guy called Kevin MacLeod - [link] I'm planning to use some for my project. If you read the terms/conditions you'll see he's really generous with his music - a lot of it is used by students and amateurs in films.

My main animation desk is actually a bed frame, and it tends to get covered with junk. So I haven't animated anything for a while. Since finishing school I've been in a massive painting mood. So expect to see a bunch of paintings in the next few weeks..

It's finally taking shape, I'll push the quality of illustrations in the next episodes but I'm nearly there with the style. It may be a little early for an actual release but it's the best way to get me to do it

I'm still building the site but there'll be a link to About11 How is it going by the way? I haven't seen you on DeviantArt in a while ^^
