I cant stop looking to this dress. Yesterday I was talking to my friend (I call her twin cuz we love the same things) and I said I wanna marry with a red dress, she said she wants it too and I was like '=O'. And today, looking for red wedding dresses on DA i found this one. When she saw it, she thought the same thing that I did 'OMG, this is THE dress'. When I get married, this is gonna be my dress, for sure. Just like this. I just need the broom... hahahaha

If I ever got married (HA, YEAH RIGHT!) I'd want my dress to be black... Partly because I happen to be obsessed with that color, and partly because it would freak people out... XD

Yes same color. I am not traditional (nor a virgin for that fact lol) so I don't want to wear white. And red is bold and daring....so it speaks to me.

That's cool then. My girl and I are looking into getting married. She was going to get a mermaid style wedding dress, but when she put it on she realized it wasn't going to work for her. The models in the magazines always make the dresses look good on them, but not necessarily good on everyone else who don't have the same shape of their body. She's tall enough so having a dress that elongates someone at her height doesn't really do anything flattering.

It's hard work finding a dress! And I completely agree about the models looking effing perfect in the pics, I've already tried this one on. My friends mother owns a bridal store so we go in there sometimes to just play around.

Ah that's cool, so you already know how things look on ya. That's really smart to do. She went in and tried on some dresses and was really disappointed. On top of that, the people at these places don't want you to be trying on dresses unless you wedding is coming up soon so you can put a down payment on them. So she told them we were getting married like this October and now they are calling her almost everyday asking if she wants to come in and try on more.
I think we are talking about having our wedding in like April. When everything is in bloom.

Its so annoying when you have to put your name down for something and then you get harassed to no end!
An april wedding would be pretty (not sure whereabouts you live so not sure what the seasons are like

*chuckles and hugs* It's fine, she went with her mom and she found the "perfect" dress. She asked if I wanted to see it, but I declined and wanted to see it the day we get married. So she's been excited, and he asking me everyday if I want to see it anyway
The typical wedding here in Cali is mostly in October November.
Spring here is very very nice. We were talking about having it at the Descanso Gardens, in the rose pavilion. Though the roses won't be in bloom that year, everything else would be. So it'd be great to get some pictures of us with all the different types of flowers.

And I definately don't want to get married in a church.

We've known each other since we were kids, so we've known each other for quite awhile. We also didn't want to be inside a church, and our wedding is going to be quick. We just want to have stuff at the reception and then leave

I KNOW!!! It was literally an entire weekend. We were boated off to this private island (the ppl were beyond rich) and practically held captive to the whims of a frantic bride.
Was terrifying.
