Description sequel to thriller (or, they call her one eye) depending on the version you see.

the idea is that she gets shipped off to prison (I'm thinking so that she can get closer to one last revenge target, much like the bride wore black)

working out the panels to have more of a beat to them. so steady, to the chaos of the flashback to the bang of the attack.

I'll probably print this out and actually tighten pencils around it

reminds me of a line from the old dub of nausicaa "thats lord Yuppa, the greatest swordsmen in the world, kill him and you'll be famous!"

of course they attack him with their swords. doh.

Miyamoto Musashi was said to have tired of killing men with his sword and only carried a wooden one for the last years of his life. He still was challenged to multiple duels by brash samurai who thought they could gain the honor of defeating him IF they could win. None ever did. Yet they insisted on trying.

Brave but not too smart people are like that hm?

thanks! layout is the toughest part for me, especially with so many panels. I remember reading that Quentin liked the film, its pretty core (with her eye getting cut out and the repeated sex scenes) but has some cool revenge moments.

it has a 5 page preview/arc so far. I might sell them as full 11x17 prints. Friend of mine is going to see if we can get the approval to do it for real (so it can look like christina lindberg and so it can have the film title) if that happens then I could see it has a 5 issue arc

Just a little nitpick, iΒ΄m pretty sure that type of buss has never been used for prison transports in sweden. Mostly because we donΒ΄t have the numbers of prisoners to justify that size of vehicle. A 1970Β΄s van like the Dodge A100 [link] or the WV type 2 [link] modified modified for prison transport would have been used.

Just a little FYI.

Anyway, itΒ΄s nice to see something actualy "happening" in Sweden in a work of fiction that isnΒ΄t actualy from Sweden.

wow! thanks so much! its funny, after having watched a few of these 70s era films from Sweden it really struck me how a lot of the vehicles were of makes that I had never seen, or are a kind that is very rare in the states. I was pretty sure that the bus I drew didn't exist over there in the 70s, but had no idea what to draw instead. this is perfect, I'll definitely change it to that Dodge. (works for me to, as I didn't want to draw a bus filled with women

Glad to help out!
Keep in mind though that i am unsure if those were the types actualy used by the prison system, but i think they were as those were the models used by the police at the time, and Sweden has always been pretty big on "One type works for all" mentality.

Hmmm, been thinking a bit, and with her having a reputation of being realy dangerous it would probably be a police van doing the transporting. If you chose to go that way, here is a link so you can see what the official police colour patern was like. [link]

If you go by the criminal correction system as transporters, it would probably be a plain colour with the logo "KriminalvΓ₯rdsverket", without the " mind you.

Anything else i can help you with, just let me know.
