New month, new army... or so it seems.Yes, I'm starting an Ork army. I bought a Black reach set of a friend for cheap... so that's the first... erm... what... 300 points?
Intend to make it more city fight oriented, hence the bases with the grey sand and the t-beam standing out on the base.
I actually liked painting this figure a lot. For a snap-fit model it has a lot of detail... but also, since I do prefer to use washes, earthly tones and make models a bit more gritty in my colors, I feel Orks is a good match for my painting style.
Not really sure if I"m going to keep this model in the final armylist... Shock attack guns and Kustom Force Fields look way more interesting.

I think Black reach orks are around 400 points or 450.
Orks are great, I have an ork army, they're fun to paint.

Yeah, those are about 400 points, which is still way less than the marines. Hooray for fair fights. New starter set is distributed just as unequal even.
Indeed, orks are fun to paint. I should get to painting more orks soon. Especially since my other 40k armies are done for the time being.
