It's a good photo and the pose is very nice 
The only thing I can say is I wish the subject wasn't directly in the center with so much open space above him/her. But then again, it's not like the gorilla would understand "Hey, can you hold that? Just let me get a better angle!" Good work!

Oh he is a real poser! This is brilliant.
I like grillas.. maybe not as much as rangtangs but I do like them. They are a bit less tolerant of people watching them. I had one bounce off a separating window once. I realised that he saw me as a threat because I was wearing a black leather jacket. So I hunkered down and the silverback relaxed.
You seem to have a real natural feel for these animal portraits Jes.
