My contribution for OnePieceContests Monthly Challenge #9 - Animal Companions

Just found out about the challenge and got an idea for it^^

This one is my OP OC Jesse with a (giant) Great Horned Owl
I took a "Samurai" theme for her because I want her to look different here (and think it suits her).
And I give the red-ish color to the owl to match it with Jesse's color scheme

Actually an owl is more like Jesse's representative animal than a companion or pet. (Actually her dad ever had an owl before, and I think the animal spirit somehow showed around Jesse as a protector)
Even though Jesse is related to vampire things, she's more matched to be seen as an owl rather than a bat. (her epithet is Night Owl tho)
Well, Owl's characteristics and behaviors are quite reflected on Jesse's fighting style and behaviors as well. Owl is a nocturnal animal, can see well at night or dark places, a farsighted, and also can see its surroundings with 270 degrees head rotation. Those abilities really close to Jesse's, where she can do such things as her advantages in a battle. Owls are also known for their camouflage ability, just like Jesse's disguising behavior. And owl's silence flight when hunting preys inspires Jesse's fighting technique.
I searched a bit and got owl as symbol of:
Intuition(ability to see what others do not see), the presence of the owl announces change, capacity to see beyond deceit and masks, wisdom, and the traditional meaning of the owl spirit animal is the announcer of death, most likely symbolic like a life transition and change

So yeah that's it
This is really a challenge because I really suck at drawing animals..
and this time I could manage it somehow
