Literally squeezing this entry in at the last minute since I've been so busy! Really wanted to enter this one though. The contest is drawing your fan characters with Vic characters :3 The admins wanted us to steer clear of Fullmetal since it's overdone, so I thought I'd do some Viola and Fai love instead!

For those of you who don't know Viola, she's my Tsubasa Chronicle OC. She grew up in a world called Illuvere where the citizens all practice glamouring magic (the ability to change your appearance). Viola came from a rough family background and went to live with a mage who'd been teaching her to hone her magic.

When she found out about the dimensional witch she begged the mage to send her to her. She asked the dimensional witch for the ability to jump worlds - desperate to find one which she felt she belonged in. She had to give up her glamouring magic as payment, so she always over-accessorizes and changes her style frequently to compensate for it. She met Sakura's group in one of the worlds and decided to help them search for the feathers, since she had no other purpose other than aimlessly jumping worlds. Plus she liked the thought of the company.

Okay, that's background stuff out of the way. Now onto the picture! Obviously the characters come across doppelgangers of themselves in the various worlds. So I thought it would be rather amusing if they came across Fai and Viola doppelgangers that are already in a romantic relationship ;D I wanted the doppelgangers to be from more of a modern world, but still not quite up to this decade... So the outfits are based more on the 50s style. Because I love the 50s |D

I looooved drawing the little chibis in the back! Kurogane and Syaoran are just like wtf, Sakura thinks it's quite cute, Fai just doesn't care (lolol), Viola's ready to die of embarrassed (since she already has a crush on Fai by this point) and Mokona just finds it hilarious

Welcome Home -CHAP.01--TSUBASA- Viola was sat at the side of the river, absent-mindedly watching her reflection in the water as her hair flickered between colours - bubblegum pink to sky blue to downy white and back again... Glamouring magic, the ability to change one's appearance, was a skill that all citizens of the world of Illuvere possessed. And like everything, some people's magic was stronger than others.
Viola took every opportunity she could to practice with hers in order to hone her abilities. Colour pigmentation was easy - whether it was the highlights in her hair, various skin tones or the tints in her irises. It was the body itself that was more difficult. She couldn't do much to change her figure, general face shape or even the lengths of her fingernails.
The most she could manage besides colouring was increasing the length or volume of her hair, and adjusting the shape of her eyes. But even that didn't last for very long... She was constantly learning though. She did live with a ma
