Nice! But for accuracy's sake you should remove the scales. Therapsids had gland-filled mammalian skin, so scales wouldn't be needed.

The Mammalians are clear descendants of Synapsid's So it could be very possible that Synapsid's are much more mammalian than previously thought

Seems to be the case. Mammalian features were expected for gorgonopsids, cynodonts and therocephalians but even pelycosaurs were more mammal-like than thought.

Yeah. Pelycosaurs were already developing mammalian skin.

That's really fascinating to know ! Really ! Β Β
I always liked the Synapsids like dinosaurs; but I think the dinosaur reseach's are quite 'supressed' the other paleoResearchs & works

Nice job, dude. This looks a lot like some sort of prehistoric wolf. I love how coarse its fur is,

Great job! The animal's expression almost seems as if he (or she?) just noticed someone was taking a picture of him.

The resemblance IS pretty shocking... I wonder if the Egyptians ever found fossils of something like this. It's a closer visual match than the story that protoceratopsid fossils dug up in antiquity gave rise to the "griffin" myths which go back to central Asia.

puntotu In reply to Paleo-King [2013-02-13 12:08:02 +0000 UTC]
Exactly, it is very likely to have had contact with the fossil remains of the animal. After all, most of the mythological creatures are born that way

Aw man... you put so much time and effort in the scales while Therapsida actually don't had them...
It looks great nonetheless, but also grasslike plants wouldn't be that much of plausible in the time when Titanophoneus lived.
