I wanted to try and mock the look of an old oil painting but its really very hard to do that while keeping in with a stylized look of a character. I think the contrast on his jacket might hide some of the detailing if your monitor is dark.----------------

Er- getting a photoshop soon and uhm yeah, i was wondering how do you know
what colours to use for the skin, and the shading to make it more realistic/uhmm yah... o\\\o

I must say--I'm very glad to see that everything worked out and that you're doing better. The work is breath-taking...it's hard for me to choose a favorite section of it to mention, but I would have to say the detailing is wonderful in the jacket and scarfs. You managed very well to take the style of the chracter and adapt it to the style of oil-painting, as well as manging to keep your own unique touches intact. Thanks for sharing

i havent played FF XI but i have played FF I through to FF X2 of which FF X2 is horendous and i have played FF XII and the characters in each of the games are wonderously detailed so if the characters in FF XI are as wonderful as all those games then you have done it justice
