Entry for weekend challenge #831 on BlenderArtist.org (theme: ritual). Blender 2.8 + Cycles 256 samples + compositing, procedural textures only.

Experienced my first ever 2.8 crash during the making. I was using version 2.80.72, and it seems to be affected (not too sure though) by the principled shader that now has alpha/transparency and emission included. Abused them a lot here, worked fine in viewport but once it started render, it closed right away. Switched to the previous build (2.80.60) then.

Btw, should have made more menacing looking ships to better fit the title, but it's only came out later on and would have been taken too long to change the shapes then. The initial title is 'summoning' and such but there are already other entries with similar word (mostly involving demon or coffee) so thought of using other cooler title. Also, the glow was blue at first and the name 'Heaven's Gate' came to mind. However, the evil orange/red version looked more enticing though, lol.
