Lately, I've been focusing on usability when designing a new interface. However...I felt like I was getting tied down with media player skins and their associated features. Sooo, I decided to put usability aside for a while and return to my roots of freestyle interfacing. What I came up with is some kinda fantasy interface for a cool looking musical instrument, most probably a synth.I feel like I'm back to my usual self now
Feedback appreciated as usual.

3 days work, on and off.

Awesome, except playing a round keyboard would be /fail, of course I realize its a software synth design but.. still.. sorta throws everything off.
The graphics are still brilliant.

It's not even software design either. Totally just freestyle to test my techniques. Creating curved keys is much harder than straight, can't simply duplicate.

Nice, I like the idea, and the interface itself is awesomely executed. but, my fingers are not 5mm thin

The only funny thing about this is, if you compare the audio jack to the keys...either that's a significantly huge jack, or you better have some small fingers.
Still one of my faves btw, and I use it as a reference sometimes when interfacing
