Description 'Monica and I had a grandmother that died. You both went to her funeral. Name that grandmother!'

Anyway, not from Friends, but from Robin Hobb's Liveship Traders trilogy. Althea Vestrit, who (despite the books having several narrators) my brain insisted was the main character.

Watercolour on paper.

I like her and the harbor is very nice, (bare arms on a Bingtown woman how shameful, just kidding).
I really like it and as for a main character when one of my friends was reading the books at my insistence she said "I really like it but which one is the main character"    I said does it need one? Are we not all the heroes of our own stories?

Thanks! You're right, it doesn't need a main character, I think my mind just got stuck on Althea because she's typical main character material.
