And her alternate universe form, Emperess Anastasia

"Naturally, I wanted to make a Ratchet and Clank OC due to my big mega crush on Dr Nefarious that's invaded my life right now.
I had already planned out her backstory and her involvement with the series' storyline. Granted it could be considered more of my version of the series but since Rift Apart and previous games talk about other dimensions, it can work.

"Anastasia was a young girl who lost her parents in a freak accident when her family butler and maid robots went rouge and killed them; this giving her a fear of robots and left her in a orphanage as she refused to be raised by any robot, instead loving the various alien creatures of the world. Meanwhile, the scientists took notice of Ratchet being the only Lombax and they decided to try something risky and mix the DNA of a Lombax with a human to see if the DNA could mutate the human into becoming another Lombax to re-build the species. Ratchet at first nervous of the idea, but agreed to it at the idea of befriending someone like him; and upon hearing a chance to help a dying alien species, Anastasia, now an adult with no clue for her future, jumped at the chance. Once injected with the DNA, she was put in a coma to allow the basic transformation to happen (see if she would get any iconic features)."

Anna has finally completed her transformation into a lombax, this made her happy knowing all she has been through has been worth it and thought her friendship with Ratchet would be closer. And while they did get closer, Ratchet still wanted to find his family; unintentionally making her fear about being abandoned and having no purpose since her whole transformation started to help him repopulate lombaxes. But she had to suck that down when Nefarious sent himself, Ratchet, Clank and Anastasia to the alternate universe where he's won and getting separating; where she meets someone both extremely familiar and unfamiliar, Emperess Anastasia aka herself.
Empress Anastasia does have the same backstory; parents killed in rouge robot attack, stayed at an orphanage and tried mixing her DNA with a lombax's to help. But unlike Anna, the experiment failed and so she was casted out; only developing a acquaintance relationship with Nefarious. So when he began taking over his world, Anastasia was captured and remembering how he "fancied her"; forced her in a arranged marriage with him so he could have an Emperess by his side. Her scar formed during a fight where she tried helping the rebels defeat her husband, one of these being Rivet who she developed a secret mentor role for. Working together, Emperess tried hiding Anna from her husband but to no avail as he caught on quickly and imprisoned them both; taking note of how he could use Anna for blackmail.
Which he does, threatening Nefarous that he would kill Anna if the doctor tried to stop him from taking over the doctor's world; but after Anna tells him how much of a winner he is in her eyes, the Dr flies in and saves her before she could be hurt. The climax of the game happens and all six heroes celebrate, until Anna sees Nefarious crushed by the emperor's robot and screams in pain losing her friend after he proved to remember her, her AU self comforting her through grief. So during the end credits after the two part ways, Emperess Anastasia works on rebuilding her abusive husband's world into a better one of equality while Anna works on rebuilding Nefarious, giving him a new..."nostalgic" design so they can both start their relationship back to when they first met...

A bit more of a darker and dramatic end to their ship storyline
