Description
The Hierophant represents power through establishment and accepted authority. It is a card of conformity and bending to social pressure. Social order is all-important and is security at the expense of freedom and true knowledge. The suppression of individuality by the establishment.Jeez, that throne. UUUUUUGH. Took forever to get exactly right, and I think it looks more wooden than golden. And I realized after I'd drawn it that his hat is a lot wider, but I'm a bum and didn't want to fix it. But HA, that expression!! Looks like pervy Earth King >3 He actually makes that expression at some point during his debut, and I thought it was so funny I had to use it XD
...I know this took a lot longer than I said it would. I've been on vacation in South Padre Island. Which sucked, by the way. It rained. The whole. Frickin. Time.

Yes, the throne and that room is a thing of evil. I drew in myself and I vow never to draw it again. I love your Avatar tarot cards. They really fit well with the characters. I can't wait to see what you do for Zuko and Katara. Personally I see him as the Death Card and her as the Star.
