Undertaker from Kuroshitsuji (Anime)
Made for London Expo May 2009

Oh gods, this was so, so much fun to wear, thanks to my Grell and Drocell. <3 I want to wear it again, but I really didn't suit his wig! I also forgot to put his beads on for this photo, so I may redo it one day.

This costume was actually fairly easy, since I already had a shirt, trousers and boots to wear.

The coat is made from a black man made material, some sort of thick curtain lining, and the collar isn't actually quite right on the back. It's double buttoned: one line is inside, and fitted. The sleeves aren't quite long enough for him; I shortened them too much, but that makes it easier to wear casually (which I do, a lot).

The sash is just two lengths of a silky polyester, and I made a bag from the same material to go with the costume.

To go with this, there's a top hat with a tail made from the same material as the coat, and black plastic beads from Claires. His belt is made from a chain with papier machie bits, which needs to be replaced now that it's been shown in the manga. The jacket is from my Edward Elric costume (a Primark shirt with white bias binding), and I also wore my skinny jeans under this, with my high heeled boots.
