Aw I really loved this design when I saw it in the art book. Still believe they should've kept the pair of glasses on him.

Yep. To tell the truth. This one gave the character more detail, and more of chinese culture influence. But i believe it will be much difficult to animate due to the details. Keeping the glass would make shifu looks old and vulnerable... but much wiser.
