(I am Kerry, one of Purple Vixen’s most trusted LILAC commanders. This is my account of a recent heist. It has turned into a disaster!)

Soon after Mara warned Kim not to move, the cashier, who was watching the door, said “The police are here!” Mara, not wanting to take any chances that we might escape, decided to pin Kim and me down by putting her foot on my ass. I guess she wanted to make sure we weren’t going anywhere or do anything just as the police arrived. She stomped down fairly hard, jolting me back to consciousness. As soon as I opened my eyes, my first thought was to start squirming and try to get away, but Kim spoke into my ear in a hushed whisper. “Kerry, don’t move! She said she’d knock us out again if we tried anything!” At the same time, Mara pushed her boot down a little more firmly on my ass. I got the hint. “OK, OK,” I whispered to Kim. “I won’t move.” I immediately stopped squirming and we listened as Mara greeted the police officers.
