heehee... so cute... cats are neat and all... but they crawl everywhere... unlike ferrets who can't jump as high. *imagines ferret flying through the air, and up in trees*

ferrets are sneaky and have to be kept in huge cages though.
And I imagine they stink, though i don't know.
Cats are very clean. Though it is annoying when they do get everywhere, you can at least lock them in a bedroom or something when they are misbehaving or in the way. They're very loveable though, as well as loving, and can sleep with you all night, while a ferret will escape or get lost if left out of its cage. I hear even well built cages ferrets can manage to escape... not good!

well, the cage I have for mine, they can't escape... unless, they can somehow get the "locks" undone. *I push in two blue things, one on each side where they go behind the bars and the cage locks. It takes a little pressure, and I doubt my ferrets could pull it off... unless the food I give them has hidden steroids.
though, all your points are quite accurate. (though, everyone tells me my ferrets stink, and I can't smell)

Ferrets seem okay *never had one actually, though I've heard/read a lot about em!* but cats are just a few steps above other pets!
Fish are just there, since you can't even play with them, and hamsters and anything else you have to keep ina cage is boring cause you have to schedule time to play with them. Cats can come and go as they please
Maybe you can't smell them because they're with you all the time. My parents used to say my mice stunk but I could never smell them either. Well, after a while if it got reallybad!

well, you got my dogs on the nose... (they act so nutty... though one is always grouchy)
If there were a support group for cat-haters, my dad would be in mid ranks... (he punted one of our cats for scratching up one of us kids as an infant really badly. It really sucks since I don't remember owning a cat.)

Well, I can see that. Then again, cats rarely are mean enough to just scratch up people unless they do something to warrant it!
I strongly dislike dogs... they stink, they get in the way, they're LOUD.
Cats can be vocal but they usually are more quiet unless they want something. And they aren't usually LOUD.
