I personally like this one better, from an artistic standpoint. The mood is very different from most of my pictures and I actually managed to pull it off. Since that's a problem I tend to have, where my style is much to cute to really do serious or sad pictures most of the time. But I've found that using darker more washed out colors really changes the mood. And yes, songs inspire me and make me want to draw something based on it. Songs speak to you though your ears, drawings speak to you though your eyes. So I really like combining them.

I may have miss communicated. when I said it makes me like that other one more, it was in the sense that seeing this improved my opinion of the other one, not meaning that I liked that one more than this. I actually like this one quite a bit, and you did do really well with the style, considering you're normal content. Sorry if it came across wrong.
