It's been SO long since I've uploaded a comic! Sorry everyone, I know this is the stuff you guys tend to like the most but their just so time consuming. Anyway, whatever I finished it and it looks great. And it's the return of my crazy pink-haired wife!The joke requires quite a bit of explaining, I think. In Harvest Moon: Back To Nature (at least I'm almost positive it's back to nature... Whatever, if not it's another HM from around the same era.) They have this plotline about how the player character used to know a little girl and they played together and stuff and throughout the whole game he's trying to remember who she is. It just conveniently turns out to be whoever you choose to marry. No matter who you choose. I find this funny for some reason, like Jack doesn't know who it is at all and is just saying it to sound romantic. XD

IIRC, HM64 and Back To Nature use that plot. And it gets into what TV Tropes calls "Fridge Logic"when you factor in that Mary didn't grown up in the Valley. When she first arrived she would've been too old to be Jack's mystery girl.

I think the girl was actually the harvest goddess
because her sprite looks like it could have been a younger version of her
now you could be saying that goddesses dont age
but this is a game where YOU CAN FREAKING MARRY GODDESSES.

HM64 and FoMT followed this bit of background. Though in FoMT it only showed up in a flashback, and the girl from childhood was basically never brought up again.
Because of this, in my headcanon, the girl was Karen, but that was purely platonic. And in my game, I married Popuri.

Sounds hilarious. There's also the possibility that whoever you marry has magical powers and edits your memory to look like her. And all the girls in town can secretly do that. I think the comic came out well. Both outfits are quite nice, and I like the completeness of the background, with windmills, and ducks, and cows, and sheep. It's nice.

Those are some very nice clouds now that you mention it. Nice and poofy and cloudlike, and the edges are blurry so they don't have a distinct edge. Which makes them look more like clouds. I like them.
