Description so in english class we did a brief study on nathaniel hawthorne's "the birthmark", a totally creepy-ass but amazingly written story about a scientist who wants to remove his wife's epic hand-shaped birthmark. he manages to remove it but she dies... i won't go into detail. read it yourself, it's great.

anyway, part of our stupidly long assignment was to "produce a graphic representation" of the second half of the story, but we weren't allowed to print it out, it had to be totally digital. and i was like, shit, i own a tablet. may as well use it.

i just uploaded this doodle because i actually kind of liked it and may use it to learn to colour art sometime. uwu
