Yes, This /is/ Purrl.
See, Purrlstar was created as the leader of WaterfallClan for rise of the star, and I'm working on giving her a new design for the series :3

(Since she's become more pink over the years, I think all the warriors fans would kill me if I put her in the series as is)

So in the video she's got the basic colors of 'Pearlstar' but I didn't want to upload that one because its not her official design. (and there's a smudge above her ear that I don't like >8C )

Hehe, you did worry me, but I'm glad your not upset.

Also.... my goodness that video was intense! You streamed together all those images pretty effectively! Very suspenseful indeed. And yes, I'm sooooo psyched for it!

Hehe, you teaser!

Now, as far as the piece goes... I love it! I love the way you handled the water, the kind of subtleness of how the paw is still visible, but it feels like it's in water, while the blood is of course, as blood would be, kind of dissolved in the water as it floats downstream (the sense of motion is great!). The grass is nice, I especially like how you can see the roots of it showing through on the lip, into the earth; nice touch. :3 The expression is great as well... I just want to give her a hug and patch up her wounds. D:
I also like how the background of the grass is kind of fading into the dark blue-tealish color... I'm talking about the little green gradient of course... sorry if I got a bit wordy. I think my favorite part is really the water though; especially how you handled how the paw interacts with it vs. how the blood interacts. If I wanted to get super picky, I kind of really wish there was a drop shadow under her tail onto the lip of the earth right below it and above the bit of bloody water, I have a feeling it would add a good amount more depth to it... but I think it still looks good.

Oh yeah, you're right, I forgot to add a shadow D: My bad x3 I didn't really think about it since the picture is on the screen for so little time, I usually leave out things like that in animation pictures, I should remember to add things to the pictures I like~

Yeah, I've been trying to work on water for a while, I think so far so good ;D

Hehe, you're fine. And yeah, I was going to mention that it is kind of for a super quick instant that it's on the screen... but still, if you can even get those super quick pictures looking amazing, imagine what it'll do for you other pictures, right? I guess the moral of the story is that, even if it's going to be seen for 5 seconds, or even not seen by anyone at all, you should still treat it like the whole world will see it... ya know? But don't take that the wrong way, I think this piece looks pretty great, personally. :3

That is a good point~ Hopefully when I start animating Rise of The Star it will be easier for me to do that since it will be less pictures in a larger amount of time (because of talking and stuff ;D)

well I can't really start animating it until I get voice actors, so I've been working on the script, I got the first episode of the prolouge finished 83 *isnt going to post the casting call until she has at least the first four episodes planned*

Ooo, that's awesome. And yeah, that's a pretty good plan. Can't wait for it though! I'm pretty sure I'm still going to attempt to try for the casting call.
