Okay, so I was wrong, I didn't upload the adoptable thingy next, I thought that this picture would be better to upload, since I just finished it and all :3Aww, arn't the kits so cute!
This is a drawing that I was thinking about doing for a while, they are all OC's of mine, but as of yet only one of them has a name, the kit on the top right.
His name is Stone. and he will be the main character of a comic I will eventually be drawing, when I have the ending thought up.
I had the hardest time with the father's face, but I seem to be okay with it now. ^^

I've been struggling to write the script for the entire comic first! I'm not planning on bringing it back until I can have the whole story solidified, but it'll get done eventually I'm sure!

I know that this is a random question, but can I look off your drawings like, a reference?? x3 (I promise I won't copy your cats directly. I've already got a style but I cant draw bodys and legs, etc right)

well, I honestly am not the best artist out there for reference, I suggest you look at pictures of actual cats, or artists much much better than me with their persmission of course. I wouldn't mind if you used my drawings as practice for basic ideas and poses and such, but please dont copy the pictures, or if you're going to use it as a reference, look at it for a good few minutes, and then try to copy the poses from memory, that's a much better way to practice than constantly looking back and fourth. (unless you're drawing realisim with a photo of an animal in that case, flip all you want xD)

After what seemed like, forever of me trying to figure out how to do my eyes, I finally came out with this design for them. Of corse, this was /after/ I found the dodge/burn tool xDD I can't beleive that I was drawing without it for almost three years x3

All that time you spent developing the eyes really paid off, I think.
And the dodge/ burn tools can be really useful! I used to use them all the time... but I'm trying to experiment with different brushes and colors for shading atm, so I don't use them as much anymore. XD

Since I have Gimp and not photoshop I don't have as many choices for tools, so the only tools I really have that help a lot are the doge/burn smudge blur and the spraycan
I do /have/ Photoshop elements, but its really really confusing, so I'm still trying to play around with it and understand all its weirdness. I had to do the same thing when I first got gimp, it took me like three months to switch from MS paint to Gimp, but its already been three months... and I'm still as confused as the day I got it xDD

I've never used gimp before, but I've seen that it can create some really amazing stuff.
...I guess any drawing program could do that if you knew all its little twists and turns. XD

Hehe, I've had to research that stuff too. I google Photoshop tips and tricks, and they've helped me some. A lot of it comes with experience, and some of it comes from looking at different people's artwork and searching for new techniques.

if you read the description for the picture, Its a family portrait of some cats that will be in my Comic from like, forever from now.
the main character is the one in the top right corner, of the kits! those are his parents, and his brother and sisters. Not warriors based, this story is completely my own x3

Well, for the father, I think "Bear". The marking on his chest reminds me of a Sunbear.
The kit in the middle, light with white stripes... makes me think "Wool".
The other two, which look like twins to me- Jay and Blue. "Bluejay" XD
The mother... ooh, she's a hard one. What is her personality? If she's calm and gentle, then Hedge- because of her green eyes. If she's willing to fight and sharp-tongued, but loyal, then Wolf- because of the combination of white fur and green eyes.

I like Bear, but my aunt has a friend named Bear, and he was killed in a motorcycle accedent. so that name makes me sad :c
Wool, is a very interesting name, I was thinking something fluffy and light like wool, or cloud, or something along those lines. She is the only kit who looks like her mother, and she is very submissive.
Their mother is a very clam and nice cat, but for me Hedge seems too, sharp. like the word. I don't know I'm weird about that kind of thing
I may keep Blue, and I would love to use Jay but my friend Wolf (XD) has a character named that, so I think if I where to name one of them that then I would be stealing it

I'll think about it. Pretty much all the characters in th=is story still need names and designs, I've actually started this story way differently than I normally do, usually I have a character, then I make the characters family, and then I add a background story, and then a plot, and then the whole story.
For some reason, this one started out with the character, then I forgot about him because his story was different than the one I have for him now. then I made up an idea for a story, made a story, and now Ii'm slipping characters in there to fill the spots. xD

I usually try and introduce the Main Character and a bit of the plot at the same time- like how Lucas is introduced after Maria's death in the prologue. Then I give the character's family, more plot, then any "bad characters". It works for me ^^

'Shadowheart' come to me, originally, as an OC to the anime Wolfs Rain; Maria. I then wanted to give her a history. Then a mate. Then, I read the book The Dream Thief and that made me want to make her a Shapeshifter, not a wolf. The TV show Animal Precinct made me want to involve the Police Force. Then I started making other characters like her, and throw in a few daydreams inspired by music, and- BINGO! Shadowheart, Beloved and Darkhorse were born!

Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me! I've always wanted to write a story about a lead dog. like the dog that leads the blind people around, only from the dog's perspective, like as the main character. I think it would be awesome 8D

Hehe, That would be! I've got a character in Beloved - you haven't met him - who is sort of like that. In a way. One character is half-blind, and he always walked by her right side [the eye she lost] to help her heal and adjust to the change.
