"The waters shimmered silver as she stopped at the edge of the lake. First one bare foot, and then the other stepped into the cool waters. Smiling at the soothing feel, she removed her small clothes, depositing them in a heap on top of her discarded tunic and trousers. Adrianna walked deeper into the lake, luxuriating in the feel of the water encasing her body. This is an interior illustration I created for the second volume of the book series Shadow Over Shandahar! Painting/drawing the water in this scene was a pain in the butt, and I still don't think I quite nailed it And if you've seen my other artwork, backgrounds are not something I typically do. There is literally only one other piece with a background in my gallery, and my friend drew that background lol. So, yeah, it's a little lackadaisical, but it wasn't the focus if the image anyways Well, I hope you guys like it, I spent too much time on it lol.
