Drew my version of April and Irma for funsies. In my inconsequential headcanon, April Celine O’Neil is was originally April Celine Everett. Her family meets a bad end, leaving her an orphan, but luckily for her the Everetts were friends with the O’Neils and she is adopted into their family. April is 20 and Irma is 17 when they first meet the turtles.

So in this headcanon Irma is born an O'Neil and not Langinstein. She has a lot of 87 Irma's personality traits including being boy crazy. Only in this iteration she is much less pessimistic. Irma is a herpetologist, meaning she’s crazy about reptiles. She currently works at her family’s antique shop. She owns a python and a baby turtle named Venus.
And April is an investigative journalist (forever nosy just like ‘87 April) who has learned the art of parkour so she can get into places normal people aren’t allowed access to. So she can move like a ninja but not necessarily fight like one. The one time she tried to use karate move she saw on tv she nearly broke her arm. April would much rather carry a gun or rely on her ability to dodge and weave out of danger since she is quite athletic.
When April first meets a turtle, she screams in terror and tries to attack him. When Irma first meets a turtle she screams in happiness, thinks she’s fallen and hit her head, and is hallucinating the best thing ever.

I'm slowly getting back into turtles and sort of getting out of ponies. Since G4 only has like a year and some change left. The last brony con ever will be next year, I just don't like the show's current and final direction etc. I'm finding my creativity and daydreaming is leading me back to turtles. So expect more turtle art in the near future! Along with Smurfs.

With maybe some pony here and there when the feeling hits me.
