Hm. Well I did say a couple of weeks ago that I friendship Starlight and Sunburst. But I also ship them romantically. Apparently a lot more than I realized as all it took was a bit of prodding from a writer friend of mine and soon I had drawn these two. I really do love Sunburst, granted I hadn't forgotten about Pipsqueak but for whatever reason, Sunburst finally gave me an excuse to go full HOERS with a pony coat. Still I'm using more down to earth colors because I think over doing markings and patterns on pastel ponies looks kind of tacky...hmmm. So if any viewers have complaints about the coat patterns you see here don't hesitate to tell me why.

Welp anyway onto their names. The young colt on the left is named Meridian Sunstorm. I enjoyed designing him the most because I love the pattern I see on some horses where they have a dark colored body and a completely white face. I used to call them "ghost face" or "skull face" horses. Apparently the true term is "bald face" which sounds a lot lamer but whatever.

The little filly on the right is named Stardew Valley. Yes I'm not kidding. It sounds like a pony name so sure why not, shuddap!

Talent/Future Job wise, Meridian is what I'm going to call a "Luminary". A luminary is a medical professional who can enter the minds of others in an attempt to discover the source of a mental disorder, illness, or other problem. It is a technique modeled after Luna's dream walking though not quite as powerful. It's a new form of therapy gaining popularity in Canterlot.

Stardew is a writer of young adult fiction. If you've read something like Redwall or The Lord of the Rings, her style lands somewhere in that range. She is also a designer of board games and custom made statuettes.

Please note these designs aren't final. I find that I'm never truly satisfied with my color choices. So the colors on these two may change in the future.
