Personally, I never could figure out how big the SCV was. All the commonly accepted designs seem to suggest it's as big as a Goliath, but only takes half the transport space/supply(??) ^~;

I think if you want to get into the gritty details, that scv is grossly undersized. I remember there was a starcraft cutscene where a zergling just chewed up the marine completely. The zergling was probably 2/3rd size of an armored marine. Given the size of that scv cockpit that was drawn, I think in reality, that scv would be at least 2x larger. Though honestly, if an SCV were really that large, the drawing would lose its shock factor

Actually(!) a different tack would have been to just show the SCV from the zergling's POV and then right when they're in striking distance of one another, then we finally see an objective view of the space construction vehicle. If only the critter had been wearing prescription glasses... XD;
