Description These three starving wyverns found a number of humans in a small traffic backup. Instead of picking them off one by one, the wyverns gathered them all into a small circle. Thats when they had their feast. The green one is playing with its first human, watching the small meal kick and punch him. The center wyvern is just finishing his second human. While the white one has already had a full course of three people. Its currently torturing the last human: nudging, biting, licking, and roaring at the final terrified person. More than likely, the final one will go to the green wyvern, for it was his idea to round up the humans.

Traffic backups are deadly here: not because of the crashes, but because of the predators lurking around. The trex threat may only be for one month, but the wyverns arrive in the city year round; hunting in small numbers in various parts of the city.

Yep, those are feet. The weird shape you see is the boots he's wearing. They look like thisΒ fav.me/d5qf9ml

I browsed through some of your art and I got one question. Why isn't the human military fighting these things?

I think there are two answers to that question; one a bit more story-like and the other an excuse

For the story: this city is an outlier located in the furthest corner of the human civilization. Most of the area outside the city limits is uninhabited, so there are not many roads going in or out of it. The city is so far off and unconnected that the rest of the nation just doesn't bother sending an army. Some civilians do fight back, but for the most part the people just hide and hope for the best.

And the excuse: I don't yet have a good military outfit or vehicles to have them fight back. If I had some good military models I might show a few scenes like that.

You would think the civilians of the city would do a better job at fighting back, given the fact that humans have technology on their side. Also, shouldn't the governor of the city request military aid? and who would want to live in a city that's known of dinosaur, dragon, and wyvern attacks? Sorry about my pestering, I like to look at these pictures with a "realistic" perspective.

I don't mind the questions, and Im with you; I like a realistic perspective with things.

Some of them do alright against a single trex or other predator. They tend to have trouble against groups. The main issue the humans face is ammo consumption, since a rex can take a beating before going down. The humans have tried several defense props, like electric fences and a dragon taser (its a rod that is mounted on the rooftops of buildings that zap any dragon that comes close. It only shocks it enough to discourage a landing, it doesn't cause the dragon to drop from the sky. It loses its power when their are several dragons though, because it has to shock several targets at once and spread the shock to all of them). But these defenses have failed and not deterred the predators.

The governor has tried several ways to get rid of them, like building defenses, but nothing has worked. Military aid is usually unavailable due to the city's location. The governor has decided to build public shelters for the people, and so far these have worked well (as long as you can reach one). Some government officials in the city are corrupted though, and see the predators as a fool proof way to get rid of unwanted individuals. Targets are arrested and placed in front of predators. When the entire situation passes, they are counted as 'eaten' and no questions ever arise.

And the reason why so many people come here despite the danger is the high paying jobs. Resources are plentiful here, so mining and drilling operations are very profitable and provide high paying jobs. The industry has caused the city to expand rapidly, and therefore, attract the predators. So if you can survive the predators, its actually a great place to live.

Mmmnoms, wyvern-food. Looksh delishe!

Such clever and efficient predators; gathering their prey in one area, sharing, and having dinner together. Just like any feast should be like; good food with good company.
The white one is lovely.

Get togethers like this is fun for everyone. Well, except the dinner itself...

I like the white one as well. Very neat texture and color.
