Description
These two cuties were a wedding gift for a childhood friend of mine who recently got married. ^w^ I used 's pygmy owl pattern to make them. You can find the pattern here:

The color scheme is based on my friend's favorite colors (dark pink and dark purple), and the eye colors match the bride and groom. Oops, haha! Now that I look more closely, I see I mixed the pictures. And there's a story for that...this was a secret gift, so I asked my friend's mom and sister to help out. One of them told me the bride had hazel eyes, so I made the pink bird's eyes hazel first. Then, to my dismay, I found out her eyes were actually blue, so I had to redo the eyes a second time. So that's why the eyes of the pink bird are different in a couple of the photos. It's always good to cross-reference and double-check your info, everyone! Haha! But it was a good lesson, and everything turned out okay in the end. ^w^

I put tiny magnets in the heart-side wings of each owl and magnets behind their beaks, so they can hold hands and kiss. :3

It was a cute project, and I enjoyed it very much. So much, in fact, that I spawned a whole flock of little rainbow owls afterwards *lol*
