MountainLake depicts a secluded mountain fishing area located deep within a remote mountain lake. It is a place where two friends find peace, serenity and companionship while in the midst of Nature's wonders. RussAll of my digital paintings are painted within the paramters of PhotoshopCS. I do not use 3rd party applications, scans or imported images for these works.

SvenjaLiv, thanks for the encouraging words. My paintings require long, tedious hours and at least six weeks to two months to complete. Knowing that they are being accepted makes the time and effort worth every second. I looked through your gallery, you are a gifted artist. There were many wonderful images to puruse. I am just getting into adding life forms to my paintings, not being able to paint animals and humans until recently. Your works will inspire me to try a bit harder. Thanks again, Russ

This reminds me of a 'Bierstadt' painting and he is one of my all-time favorites. I have two of his in my living room.
In particular I love the light that you have coming through the trees, just like morning. I can almost smell the fresh air.

Michelle, It is so wonderful that an accomplished artist such as yourself finds my work to be worthy of recognition. I perused your extensive portfolio and was very impressed with what I saw.
