Description This piece took way too long to finish (drafted and outline left in my drawing pad for 2? years) but it's finally done! This was actually a really good practice for me because there were so many details and different textures (please... no more tack please ) . Found a scanner but it really did a number on the subtle shading, especially the lighter areas.
Completely almost exclusively using mechanical pencils (0.3 mm, 0.5 mm) 3H, HB, 3B, 6B and 2B carbon pencil.
And of course, reference photo can be found here: Here

Fantastic pencil work! The detail, texture, even the small folds in the  horse flesh bring this drawing to life. I have the same problem scanning. Sometimes I think I spend as much time getting a good .jpg as I do drawing the piece.

I'm happy to see you joined my group. This will be in an upcoming showcase for sure.

Thank you very much! Happy to join your group The scanner does eat up a lot of detail but of course, if one has the necessary digital image editing skills and patience, then it can be fixed (unfortunately I have neither!)
