( ignore the crappyness of the photo, I'll try get a better one later ... )Urm, so, this is the huge painting I was talking about ... It's finally finished ._.;
I don't feel like explaining it, because really, there's nothing to explain ... We had to do a painting using a few NZ artists as models ( which I didn't really do, HAH! ) and yeah ...
Done with ... let's see ... acrylic paint, white gouache and a white coloured pencil ... and paintbrushes ... Oooooh ... and it took ... far too long ... I have no idea how long exactly X3;
It's 120 cm (47 inches) wide, and 80 cm high ... (31 and a half inches ) what fun it was ... not ...

Wow, very smooth work for painting. I remember the large painting all the students had to do for our art show last year (we all did a piece of the same painting. I did most of the work on the background). It was fun, but I never got a photo of it or anything. Anyway, very nice. Gives off a nice animated feel to it for some odd reason..

Very very cool, I love the shillohuetted parts of the city and have you've delineated the two seprate layers of the buildings with the highlights~ I dunno if you really needed the saturated red in the foreground, I think if anywhere it might have worked better on the red in the BG as right now it kind of fights with the moon for attention.
However since this isnt digital work I know how hard it is to go back and fix anything, so just ignore me as it really is a nice peice either way ^_^

And yeah, I know what you mean about the red. It was bugging me the whole time while I was painting it, but as you said, it IS hard to go back and fix it *wishes you could have layers in real life ... and an undo button*

Wow. This is so much better than I can do with acrylics. They all get messy for me. XDD I love the way you did the colors, and the way it's not entirely realistic, like something out of a nightmare.
