Description This is the internationally issued standard micro-transport of the ADA; otherwise known as Tunnel Patrol Vehicle 1. This model is built like a cross between an offroading buggy and a street vehicle, with very open passenger space (usually uncovered, unless traveling at high speed in the international subway system, in which case a simple plastic cover is used). The powerful engine is mounted in the rear of the vehicle, and cargo is normally stored on the roof of the cockpit (also can be stored on the engine roof in non-combat variations without the turret). Other notable features are a mount on the rear for a spare tire (two can be mounted at once if needbe), a pair of powerful floodlights in the front, and directional spotlights on the frontal roof area.

The turret portion is only mounted for combat reasons, and contains a number of gunner-oriented features; a gyro-stabilizer helps deter the amount of bumping up and down that the turret experiances, and the gunner seat also has some suspention. Ammunition for the cannon is stored behind the turret box, and fed through a closed belt and rail system on the right side of the gunner. The cannon itself is allowed some degrees of rotation seperate from the turret, and with some modifications the turret can be aimed at near vertical angles to provide AA support. A single high-powered, wide-area spotlight on the top follows the cannon's direction via a small computer system that is also tied into the gunner's control of the cannon. The cannon is a repeating gun firing high-impact explosive AP rounds at a moderate rate.

Varations of the TPV include the TPV-1A, TPV-1M, TPV-1T and TPV-1C. The 1A is the standard combat/patrol vertion shown here. The 1M is a medical vehicle, acting as a fast and light ambulance, with a slightly smaller engine and an elevated roof allowing a compartment for patients (the turret gyros and swivel mount take up about half of the engine compartment on the combat version). The 1T is a personal transport version and is identical to the 1A save for missing the roof turret. The 1C is a very light cargo truck for carrying supplies and keeping up with vehicles as fast and manouverable as the TPV-1, and utilizes space in the same way as the 1M.

Thanks!

I hadn't conciously taken into account the weight distribution when designing this; and kinda went with the basic layout of a previous TPV design drawn many years ago. Though this could probably be remedied by having a counterweight in the front section.
