Pechanko grew up on a peach tree in a school garden,
and often watched the students seed and grow plants.

he saw love confessions over in the corner of the courtyard,
and once, a fight !!! he watched and watched all spring
and summer long.

at the end of summer, students came to harvest.
Pechanko was picked that day--human hands are so warm !

unfortunately, the big sister who picked him tried to toss the peach
to her little brother. the ground sure is hard? ?

he later woke in the compost bin, with a black eye to go with
a bruised worldview.
