(I'm sorry..I can't think of a better title)Omg so last week, I watched this guy on youtube play this game called Yume Nikki, and I just fell in love with it.
I thought of playing it myself, but then while I was watching LoudMan play it, I was glad I decided to watch him, because I would've had no patience on trying to play it..I would've been so confused lol.
SPOILERS AHEAD? i guess..idk.
Anyway, the ending, which is like in this picture, is...oh gosh... It's so heart breaking.. I read some of the theories on YumeNikki.Wiki and all of theories just seemed so right..especially the one about her getting raped, and how that could've caused her to do what she did... :I
But yeah...for those who haven't heard of Yume Nikki, played it, or watched someone play it, you must. I promise, it's such an interesting game and I'd love for you people to..uh know about it and stuff. c:
Also! One more thing..I saw this cleaver crossover picture between Yume Nikki and Ib and I was just like, "OMGGG THIS IS JUST SO FUCKING PERFECT.." and whatnot. Here it is right here if you want to see it yourself: [link]

I like the expression of the hair and the overall pose of the torso.
Based on the black background It feels like she's in a small cramped space, which could actually help this piece, bring a bit more story to it. It's interesting how the ground is so defined giving a perfect edge to the black making it feel like it's a wall. Bringing the question. Why's she in a closet? Upset perhaps because she broke her foot... and doesn't want to tell anyone.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this one.
I think this piece is drawn in such a way that it reads "life". Other than the foot that seems a bit painful.
So far I have not seen anyone offer a suggestion as to how to fix the foot. So here it is:
1. Take the current foot you have drawn here. Create a layer over this one.
2. Draw the leg as if it were nothing but BONES. The FRONT bone (Tibia) is a SOLID bone that doesn't twist. The back leg bone (Fibula) is the bone that does the twisting. Based on her current foot her Fibula has traveled a GREAT DISTANCE from its home base and the Tibia has been twisted painfully (remember Tibia is the strong bone that remains stable while the Fibula does the twisting.)
3. The foot itself will be self explanatory once you re-arrange the two bones above. Then it's just a matter of Perspective (Foreshortening) as the foot moves away from us.
Practice Drawing Skeletons. Anime Artists spend years perfecting the skeleton and muscle anatomy on real people long before they ever start manipulating a cartoon character. Once they know what the REAL thing looks like, they'll have MASTERED anything that's a stylized version of it.

But thanks, like a lot, for taking the time to critique me! I'll take your word about drawing bones in her leg..and drawing some skeletons. I'll try and do that when I'll get some more free time or something. I knew the foot looked awkward myself when I was doing it, but I really wasn't sure on what to do/how to fix it..
