Delusions of the Things PastAs all of my delusions mini-series, this piece is a result of yet another sleepless night, compositing hundreds of layers (200+ in this case), lots of coffee and lots of emotions transferred into these pixels.
I am trying to put the things in my mind in order, analyze myself through these visual collages.
This piece is a farewell work to my ex-girlfriend with whom I have spent 3 and a half wonderful years. The original photo was the first one I ever took of her, on the very day we met, and I think it is a good idea to loop this chapter of my life with it.
The photo was shot for the assignment (beer commercial) - that's where the bottle came from.

A beautifully emotional piece of work, so many fragments all puzzling together to make a picture, unravelling too fast to pin down but in the caos and layers an image is visible.
Potent work this.. capturing many emotions and thoughts, while stunning to view.. could waffle on for hours and bore you to beyond boredom but suffice it to say that wow.. great work and I could look at this for hours and see new emotions and thought that went into making this. Fabulous work, .. way up on the greatness scale.

that fuckin owns.. all the pieces falling apart/coming together.. almost gives motion to it.. the title fits very well w/ the style of it as well .. delusions.. like shattered dreams .. extremely acceptable

I really love this. Beautiful way to convey the end of a meaningful relationship. It seems as if you're taking it well (maybe because you can express your feelings so well through your art ). My girlfriend and I have been seeing eachother for 2.5 years now and I can imagine what it would feel like if it ended.

i try to reproduce events in my life that have affected me in similar ways, i suppose...this is absolutely gorgeous...
this must have taken quite the creative process for you... 200 layers of life...
