About

Ophelia was born to Princess Twilight Sparkle and the King of Chaos, Discord. She heavily resembles her father and eagerly follows in his twisted footsteps. Ophelia idolizes Princess Luna, leading to her desire to cause chaos in pony's dreams. Like her father, Ophelia is bipedal, meaning she is typically seen walking upon her hind legs, though she is able to roam upon all fours. Her body parts consist of: The head and hoof of a pony, a lion's paw, the body of a black house cat, antlers and legs of a cervine, wings of a songbird, and a scaly tail which is iconic to the Draconequus species.

Personality wise, Ophelia comes off as extremely sheltered due to Twilight trying to protect her from the outside world. She grew up inside of castle walls and being taught the ways of a princess. Though she was tied up in royal affairs most of the time, Twi did allow her to attend public school with all of her friend's children including: Retro Dash, Nessa Mae, Celestine, and Coffee Cake. Aside from her naivety about the mystical world around her, Ophelia is extremely book smart, though she very rarely tends to tap into that knowledge, much rather spewing facts from comic books and trading card strategies. Because of this unwillingness to behave and learn, Ophelia was not chosen to be Twilight's head student in later years (much to Ophelia's relief); instead she fills most of her days learning from Princess Luna and her son, Somber Moon. But through it all, Ophelia is a young, playful soul and a bit of a hopeless romantic. She loves to read teen magazines and fill out their silly quizzes, and compare her horoscope with the presumed love of her life: Retro Dash. This kind of behavior makes her clingy and abrasive when flirting, and she can be bit manipulative in order to get the response she wants most.

Ophelia practices dream walking with Luna and alters others dreams into strange, acid-tripping experiences. She loves to manipulate their thoughts into wild, personalized playgrounds for herself to roam through.

Aside from dream walking, Ophelia specializes in chaotic noise. She is able to reproduce any sound she has ever heard. Her favorite being sirens, fog horns, and jackhammers. She expresses these noises heavily when in an emotional state. For example: crying results in her producing the ear-splitting wail of a beautiful Siren. When laughing, sometimes the sound of giggling ponies slips in with her own laughter. And when happy, she may purr like a cat or when angry, buzz like an angry hornets nest.

Ophelia is not the best flyer. She's often very unsteady in the sky and makes sloppy landings, falling to the ground with a light thump. She never fully comprehends flying as an adult, and prefers to stick to the ground.
