Ummmmm.....Uh uh.... [link] The drawing is cool as is the cat, but the fur and ears might need work. The backs of cats' ears, where the cartilage meets the skull are huge. [link]
In other words, if Dinictus was a feline, the lower back of his ears will come down at least half again as far, close to level with his eyes. Fur sticks out and follows the skin/muscle structure underneath, so the hair being slicked back like that is unlikely, though maybe not impossible.
You do a great job on your prehistoric felines.

This was a very early reconstruction, I did better with my Xenosmilus recon.

I am using "kitty" gebnerally, rather than specifically. It is still my favorite feliform carnivoran mammal (fossil)!
