Yes I think it is interesting, once a bird is trained to fly to the glove you have it fly to you then hide the glove at the last moment causing the bird to pause if you like, a kind of mini hover, you can then start throwing titbits for it to catch as it approaches you and again this may cause it to hover, it is then hoped eventually that the bird will learn to hover when the glove is hidden from view in the hope it will be rewarded.
My Wife has loved doing the week long course and hopes to dosome more.

Yes she had a wonderful week, the Falconer said he was willing to mentor her when she decides to get a bird, I popped round to see him today regards some photography, very nice chap, learnt a lot from him in a couple of hours and he is happy for me to go out with him when he flies his birds so I can try and get some shots for the pair of us.
