You can say the background is half-assed and too simple, but I think it balances out all the detail on the girl very well.

Wow! That's incredible. It doesn't look like a vector art at all unless you look *really* closely at the folds of the clothes and stuff. I love the classic style of the wood-block print background against the contemporary anime style. The smoke from the gun really helps bind the two together.
