Really like the reloading details. How do you construct the hand hold, grip and trigger? I mean do you draw the hand as separate layers or split paths?

Thanks for appreciating the details I put in there. As for the hands, I always draw the weapon first then draw the hand around it, that way it'll fit naturally. At times I use my own right hand as reference to be accurate.

No problem at all my friend thanks for the reply.
I agree about drawing the weapon first and I'm right handed so I use my free hand whenever I can.
I made the mistake drawing an arm from stock with her other hand gripping the trigger than should work in perspective. So I had to go back and redraw it. Placing a ring on her finger sort of focuses my mind on where the wrinkles should go. See what I mean :thumb136649464:

Come to think of it, Togusa is the only character who uses one, as far as I know. Then there's Vash Stampede, but then his is a totally different weapon.

The 2006M Mateba is the better.
Certainly more suited for a combat and defence role.

I agree wholeheartedly. Marvelous pieces of engineering.
Such a shame it never caught the six o'clock barrel never caught on.

Looks like you got stuck in that odd position where the realistic positions of the body(parts) clashes with the "coolness" factor. So you either stay true to the natural order of the anatomy, or gamble and try to make it "look good".
I love the little challenges sometimes.
