The fights not over. The Supreme Court decision wasn't to legalize Gay marriage by the Constitution; only that State Governments cannot ban it if their states legalize it. I think that there will be a change, thank God, but there could be unforeseen problems in the future. Be strong, and be wary.

I agree, the fight for equality isn't over. I'm afraid that straight allies might stop and say 'homophobia is over', but it's not.
This is comparable to the abolishment of slavery. People think racism is over, but it isn't.
We're all still scared, still afraid. This momentous achievement is a hope, a step closer to what could happen in the future. I hope your church takes the next big step and creates change like we did today. <3

The next big step for my Church is reaching out to other Christian communities to preach love and acceptance of the LGBT...but I am honestly terrified. I feel like we're a grain of sand before a thundering tidal wave.
