Description

A version of the USATC S160 that was seen in China; as it there was known as the KD6.

The CHR KD6 has some slight changes to it's original US counterpart, this included: Taller Chimney, Larger Cab, Railings on the tender and new Head & Tail lamps.

It is unknown how many KD6s were made, as there is no infomation about the number of KD6s rebuilt from S160s that were based in China.

But, S160 No.5197 use to be a CHR KD6 as in China it was numbered (and rebuilt as) KD6 No.463.
