Well, I've gotta get some art in here.I know, I know; this must be an atrocity to the people of TST, drawing Lugia as such a reptilian creature. Well, variations of ideas ended up with this.
You can see I applied artistic license thick on the image.
Hopefully, the shading is correct on the legs; the wings should appear translucent but still shade that leg darker than the other.
Lugia's original idea is to Nintendo as my distortion is to me.

The head I get, though the wings... well, not pterodactyl, but something else with membraned wings.

I can't see how you can stand to shade this entire thing in with a mouse and without layers. Just thinking about doing that makes me cringe.
If I try and ignore that though, this is really amazing, I love how you designed the wings and feet. Although at the same time, to critique this, ugh, the shading completely confuzzles me x.x;;~ I can't tell where the light source is at all...

Hmm, but then wouldn't the other shoulder be lighter? And why would the top of the bent wing be pure white then? O__o;;
I think part of the problem could be that the open wing doesn't look like it's bent forwards but rather flat on the screen~~ o u o

Probably best to just lower contrast and exaggerate [foreshorten?]~
