My boyfriend's family surprised me with a picnic for my birthday, but it began to rain and the umbrella filled with so much water it gave way and poured down on his poor mom in a cascade. We moved the picnic indoors to the floor of our warm apartment, but not before this image had lodged itself in my head.

i was going to tell you! they have a new monkey island game, i think its the one you mentioned above, but its been made recently, i saw it in the papers some time ago and thought of choo.

That is the Monkey Island game I have now, it's sort of a touched-up version of the first game in a not-so-pixely style, and I think they have a few more lines in, but the riddles are the same, and it all looks pretty cool! You can recognize the places in the first one, it's just drawn differently. Now we hope they might do the same for the second, which remains Esra's favorite.

There are pixie books! The book I looked at was called something like 'Elves, Goblins, and Spooky Things' loosely translated. It was in German, called 'Elfen, Goblins und Spukgestalten', but I was in it for the pictures.

But then it brings up the topic of why weather people suck at their jobs. It could be that weather is unpredictable but when technology allows you to locate the source of a freakin' earthquake!, I think they should be able to know if it's just drizzles or actual rain fall.

No, the weather forecast said "light rain" ... which it was for a few minutes, before turning into a downright downpour. It's raining today! Means it's too dark to draw comfortably though, but I have OOC coloring to do so that's okilyday.

Thanks, I rarely do stuff in this style. Inspired by some fairy/goblin fantasy art in a book Esra's mother has at her place. I enjoyed going through it.
