I remember Aeodh learning to fly... getting a hang of the 3D... more like 6 directions is tough... now he is expert... and still Rael makes fun of his flying! damn ores sitting on top of tiny thin mountain tops.... grrrrrrrrrr

Hehehe, I've gotten a hang of it by now. It's only irritating when I get bad lag and wind up flying off the edge of an island in the Abyss, because it shoots me back a few meters.

It's still giving me headaches when it comes to ather gathering at high altitudes and I need to glide down... and before I learnt that gliding don't manouver as well as real flying... yep.. pain >.<

Lol, somewhat reminded me of pvp. poor guy missed me and flew stright into a rock face. I did feel bad for laughing at him, poor asmo guy. ^^

Ouch, that's got to suck, especially since "death by falling" in the Abyss doesn't constitute as "death by Elyos" and costs you more Kinah to heal your soul.
I don't recall ever having trouble steering, just staying in the air sometimes (I can't glide as high or as long as Bix, for instance). Although once I did try gliding in a narrow tunnel in Pandaemonium and got myself stuck in the ceiling.

Lol, When in sanctum. deadlyrose and myself jump of the platform and glided down. we had to wait for our return had cooldown becouse we both pritty much got ourself stranded there.
as for the asmo that hit the rock face we kinda serch for each other in the fourms we come best of friends, say strenge things do happen. so when in Abyss or area were both side are were often togather, got thing we do now "love tap" which hit each other and fly off.

I think Pandaemonium is smaller than Sanctum, and doesn't have areas where you can fly and die (like that damn airship dock). However, you can jump into those pretty purple ponds around the Vanahal noble district and the PVP arena, and if you manage to avoid drowning and jump onto a rock, you'll have to wait for your return cooldown to come back.
I know a few Elyos who play on Gorgos through the roleplay forum or here, on DeviantArt, but I've yet to run into a single one in the Abyss or in game at all, and even if I did ... we're in a war. Mercy is not something you should expect, especially since I usually grind with at least one other guildmate, and they're a little more impulsive than I.

Thankfully no areas like that in Pandaemonium, I think it's actually smaller than Sanctum, and no zones where you can fly and die (like that bloody airship dock). You can, however, leap into the pools of water, and if you don't drown you might be able to jump onto rocks, but you have to wait to port out of there again.
HAH. I know a few Elyos through DeviantArt that play on Gorgos, but honestly, if I run into them in the Abyss ... well, we are in a war, and I'm usually grinding with one other guildmate, and none of them are as merciful as me. By merciful here I mean: Oh, look, a lone Elyos chanter1

Lol I'm Elyos as all ym friends kinda drag me to be one, Only Rose and myself wanted to be asmo due to were often have somewhat evil ideas. being Elyos and evil dosn't that well, oh well lest got few Elyos to leap to there death from the airship dock, what people will do for money. -grins-

It was almost unanimous with me and my friends to play Asmodians, generally appealed to me more. I read the lore, and I found it very difficult to sympathise with the Elyos.
If you've read it, too, you'll see there's no good or evil side. Asmodians are dark-skinned and have claws, sure, but that doesn't make them evil. Read NPC texts and the books and you'll see their system of society is a little regimental, but they're in no way evil. In fact, of the two races, I find them the "lesser of two evils". The Elyos came through the rifts to Asmodae, saw Asmodians didn't look like they did, and slaughtered them, giving rise to the war. Also, read their NPC quest text: killing small animals on the starter island because they're trying to take back the land you stole from them in the first place? Oh yes, real bravado.
Eh, each to their own, but the Elyos come across as stuck up and snobbish, looking down at everyone below them, even Elyos who aren't Daevas, and thinking they're Aion's rightful simply because they have boring--I mean, blinding! Blinding! Yes, I meant blinding, white wings.

Lol I rather be asmo, always have been. Rose and myself been trying find way to escape the Eylos and convince the other to join us. I think asmo race are cute, they got little demonic touch to them but as socitey they are mroe down to earth. Elyos i find are more arrgont and believe they are the rightful ones when really asmodians no diffrent to them.
I like the Eylos but I'm asmo at heart.

Well as I said, you're in a war. It shouldn't happen. Bad feelings have been brewing between Asmodians and Elyos for thousands of years, spurred on by what they're taught.

yeah, some the quest for Eylos they blame Asmodians for allot of things, when in truth there no better and not Noble as they like to think they are. the whole "we be friends if you believe in what we believe." really think about it, Eylos kinda started the war with that line lol.

The "we'll be friends if you renounce your lord" were the Asmodians, demanding it of the Elyos commander after that commander had slaughtered a bunch of Asmodians. They write the lore so you can't lump all the blame of the tower shattering, or the war between Elyos and Asmodians, completely on either race. Both are at fault, I just find Asmodians easier to sympathise with.

Have you ever been to the Mosbearsnowfield in Beluslan while it was snowing? (I am not sure if it is called that way, but the server are still down, so I can't check in game ^^)

YES. I have been to the Mosbear Snowfield and it is BEAUTIFUL. ESPECIALLY when it's snowing! Jaris even took Thespia there to show her how pretty it was, but our RP was interrupted by an Elyos gank group.

Hehehe, we are a wacky group, although timezones are funny because Thespia and Kiljax live in Canada and I'm in Singapore. Although that's not to say everyone else isn't fun to talk with, and we RP in the field.
