Beautiful, confident lines! Do you do a rough sketch before that, or do charge ahead and just draw what's in the mind?

Holy cow am I terrible at replying to comments. For these sorts of commissions I generally just barrel ahead with a single sketch, unless I'm having difficulty settling on a pose.
